Focus and scope

The REVISTA DE GASTROENTEROLOGIA DEL PERU is the official publication of the Sociedad de Gastroenterologia del Peru, which publishes original articles, review articles, case reports, letters and general information on the specialty; Aimed at health professionals with a special interest in gastroenterology.

The Revista of Gastroenterologia del Peru is a quarterly review, and aims to publish unpublished scientific articles in the field of gastroenterology, providing updated and relevant information on the specialty and related areas.

The Revista de Gastroenterologia del Peru publishes full-text articles in two languages, Spanish and English, in their printed and electronic versions. Scientific articles are submitted to national and international reviewers or arbitrators, specialists who give their opinions on their quality and validity in a double-blind and anonymously manner. The number of reviewers depends on the type of article; at least two reviewers for original articles, and at least one for other types of articles.
