Resumen

El melanoma uveal es el cáncer ocular más frecuente en adultos, originado en los melanocitos de la úvea. Aunque poco común, su alta capacidad metastásica, principalmente hacia el hígado, representa un desafío significativo para el pronóstico del paciente. La metástasis gástrica, aunque infrecuente, puede indicar una enfermedad avanzada, con una incidencia de hasta el 60 % en estudios post mortem. Se presenta el caso de una paciente de 47 años con antecedente de melanoma uveal, quien desarrolló metástasis gástricas y hepáticas, además de lesiones cerebrales, lo que condujo a su fallecimiento en un corto período.
